Broadband AR coatings

Broadband AR coatings usually consist of three or more dielectric layers and are suited for considerably wider spectral ranges, like 400-700 nm. Typically reflection is reduced down to 0.5 % - 1.5% at normal incidence depending on the selected spectral region, or to 1-2% at AOI=450 incidence.
     Typical spectral ranges covered by these coatings at normal incidence are: 250-350 nm (R<1%), 350-900 nm (R<1.5%), 400-700 nm (R<0.5%), 400-800 nm(R<1.2%), 500-800 nm (R<0.5%), 700-1000 nm (R<0.7%), 800-1200 nm (R<0.7%), 1200-1600 (R<0.5%), 1200-2000 (R<0.7%).
Coatings could be optimized for average, S, P or both polarizations.
